Spring 2024 BCRP Season: The Beginning of the Sláinte Era

Every story has a first chapter—and Sláinte Athletic wrote theirs in bold ink this spring.

In our inaugural BCRP season, a new squad of unfamiliar faces came together with one goal: to build something worth believing in. It didn’t come easy. The opening stretch tested us. But game by game, connection by connection, the team found its rhythm—20 goals, a trip to the semi-finals, and a reputation earned the hard way.

Danny Hallowell emerged as the club’s first true goal threat, leading the line with relentless intent. Iliass Zouita served as the creative heartbeat, topping the assist chart. Major pickups like Francio Henry, Moe Cisse, and Kristian Slaby helped shape the identity of a side that refused to fold under pressure.

Our defining moment? A ruthless 5-1 dismantling of league champions Das Bierhal—a thunderous reminder that Sláinte is no easy fixture.

We fell just one goal short of a final. But a foundation has been set. And this is only the beginning.
